Major Oak Tree is a giant oak tree in the middle of Sherwood Forest, Nottinshamshire , England . According to local folklore, the tree made Robin Hood’s hiding place when he and his group hunted.
This famous tree age is around 800-1000 years old. In 1790, Major Hayman Rooke, a famous antique researchers, include studies of the story of an ancient oak tree in the Sherman in his book until the tree are named Major Oak Tree.
