Major Oak Tree

Major Oak Tree is a giant oak tree in the middle of Sherwood Forest, Nottinshamshire, England. According to local folklore, the tree made Robin Hood’s hiding place when he and his group hunted.

This famous tree age is around 800-1000 years old. In 1790, Major Hayman Rooke, a famous antique researchers, include studies of the story of an ancient oak tree in the Sherman in his book until the tree are named Major Oak Tree.
